Helen Powell-Stoddart, MD, MS

Dr. Stoddart's personal interest in wellness has led her to increase her understanding of nutrition and how it impacts every aspect of human life. This prompted her to open Pain 2 Wellness Healthcare where she seamlessly incorporates these important elements into her treatment protocols. She uses an integrated approach to patient care that includes traditional, alternative and nutritional measures to promote optimal health. What can Dr. Helen Powell-Stoddart do for you?

Dr. Helen Powell-Stoddart

is a board-certified physician of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She began her early career at Oakwood College, now Oakwood University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy. Having solidified her interest in health and the inner workings of the human body, she entered the next stage of her education, obtaining a Master's of Science Degree from Howard University.

Dr. Stoddart continued to increase her knowledge of the structure and function of the body by attending the Howard University School of Medicine. While attending medical school, she investigated the interactions within the body that either diverge to cause disease or collaborate to promote and maintain health.

After graduating in the top of her medical school class, Dr. Stoddart was one of only two physicians accepted each year into the five-year combined residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She subsequently completed her fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Orthopedics.

THE PRACTICE

CANCELLATION AND NO- SHOW POLICY

Our goal is to meet the needs of all our patients. We will make every effort to schedule your appointment as efficiently as possible. In return, it is your responsibility to make every effort to keep your appointment and to arrive promptly at the instructed time.

However, we realize that unanticipated events can occur and may prevent you from keeping your appointment. In fairness and consideration to the other patients that need to be seen as soon as possible, we hereby request that you notify our office immediately when you realize you will not be keeping your appointment.

There will be a $100 Charge for cancelling or rescheduling your surgery appointment and without giving notice of a minimum of two (2) business days.
